Ayiti Sheri!
Words can’t explain the current event. It’s sad and unimaginable. I’ve always considered Aiyiti to be another home though I’m the only one out of my siblings born in the US. My last visit was when I was about 4 or 5. It was the first time I was meeting my brothers and sisters. The memories of vague but I’ve lived through the stories told. I’ve since dreamed of going for another visit and looked forward to hopefully making that happen this year 2010. My family and I right now can only pray and hope to hear from my aunt and uncle who lives in Port-Au-Prince. Only Jah Jah knows!

A forgotten task…

Once again through Facebook I was able to reconnect to a bredren I haven’t seen for years. He’s one of the greatest poets I know and I was so proud to see this.
Getting things done
I’m finally over the flu and this weekend I was able to get a lot done. I finally get to send all my orders out. One thing InI don’t like is being late on anything I produce so sending stuff out past the 2 weeks mark is not acceptable. We don’t always have control over time, but we try our best.
This month is going to be really hectic and I will have to shut the store down for about two weeks to catch up and get back on track. Spring is just about here and I would like to be prepared. April will be filled with surprises and I can’t wait to share.
Building up stock
I’ve been getting a lot of orders these past few days that I’m trying to keep up with. These dresses have been selling which I’m taking as a sign of Spring is real near. So I am working hard around the clock to restock and have them ready to ship out as soon as I get the orders in. This little cold that I have that is making me feel so weak is not helping but I’m not letting it stop me. Much love to my costomers who have been so patient.
Checking In
Blessed love. It’s been a while since I posted any updates, but I’m here still working hard. I’m on the verge of taking a small break to restructure. It’s been something I’ve been meaning to do and the time has come. I haven’t designed anything new so I’ll be spending time designing my signature collection. Aside from that my creativity comes in so many different ways that it can be a bit overwhelming.
I’m finishing my last few orders so I can free up myself. Balance is a key factor in all that I do, so I must work on staying balanced by tuning into myself and allowing the positive energy to flow.
I’ll be sharing some inspirations here and there such as this brotha’s work I came across today.
